UNOX Wafer Type Double Acting Pneumatic Actuator Nickel Butterfly Valve
What is a Pneumatic Actuator Wafer Type Butterfly Valve?
A butterfly valve is used to control the flow of liquids or gases such as water, air, or gas. It consists of a disc that rotates around an axis. When one side of the disc is open, the other side restricts the flow, allowing flow control. Butterfly valves are generally used for large-diameter pipes or hoses and are commonly preferred in facilities, factories, and industrial plants for controlling fluids such as water, gas, or air.
These are wafer and lug type valves installed between two flanges, used in narrow installation spaces, typically for water and non-corrosive fluid applications. They are driven by compressed air through a pneumatic actuator and are available in different connection diameters. They may feature brass or stainless steel discs depending on the application.
