Unox Buhar Normalde Kapalı Solenoid Valf (0,5-6 BAR)
What is a Steam Solenoid Valve?
A Steam Solenoid Valve is an electromechanical valve that allows or blocks the movement of steam in one direction through a pipeline. This valve is controlled by a magnetic coil called a solenoid and is commonly used in systems like steam boilers. The steam solenoid valve ensures the correct direction of steam flow, improving system efficiency and safety.
Where Are Steam Solenoid Valves Used?
Steam solenoid valves are designed for installations with high temperatures (80°C – 180°C). They are typically used in industrial plants and facilities where steam control is necessary. These valves regulate steam distribution, ensure steam is delivered to the correct areas, and control steam flow. Additionally, they help operate steam-powered equipment and ensure the safe use of steam.
Solenoid valves are manufactured in two types: normally closed (valve closed when the coil is not energized, opens when powered) and normally open (valve open when the coil is not energized, closes when powered).
Normally Closed Operating System
A normally closed solenoid valve initially blocks the flow. When an electric current energizes the coil, it pulls the core upwards, opening the orifice and allowing fluid to flow quickly through the bypass hole under high pressure. This causes the internal pressure to drop rapidly, creating a pressure difference. This difference overcomes the diaphragm spring force, lifting the diaphragm upwards and allowing fluid to pass, thereby opening the valve. All these processes occur in a very short time. Our product is designed for optimal efficiency.

Recommendations
-
Mount the solenoid valve with the coil facing upwards.
-
Use filters such as strainers before the solenoid valve in the system.
-
For high temperatures, we use more durable diaphragm and seal materials. Please specify if you need high-temperature materials when ordering.
Important Considerations When Selecting a Solenoid Valve
-
The coil should be chosen according to the operating voltage (AC/DC). Protection and insulation must be ensured according to the application. (The valve opens when electricity is supplied and closes when power is cut.)
-
Minimum and maximum pressure values in your system are crucial for valve selection.
-
The nature and temperature of the fluid directly affect valve choice.
-
The flow direction must match the arrow on the valve body during installation.
-
Since solenoid valves do not act as check valves, backflow may occur under reverse pressure. In such cases, installing a check valve after the solenoid valve is recommended.
-
The pipeline where the valve is installed must be free of debris.
