Unox Low Temperature Pneumatic Actuators (-50°C)
What is a Pneumatic Actuator?
A pneumatic actuator is a mechanical device operated by air pressure. This device generates force or motion by moving a piston or plate inside a pneumatic cylinder. Pneumatic actuators are commonly used in automatic control systems and are powered by air pressure from a compressed air source. They are widely preferred in mechanical systems for controlling motion due to their high durability, reliability, and fast operation. Additionally, they can be used in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
UNOX pneumatic actuators are fully domestically produced products developed in our company’s R&D department. Low Temperature Pneumatic Actuators are used for controlling valves and dampers that open or close with 90° or 120° rotation.
General Features

Construction
- Aluminum extrusion with an inner and outer corrosion-resistant cylinder surface, produced with highly precise processing for long life and low friction coefficient.
- Symmetrical and easy mounting position; compact pistons made from special aluminum alloy that allow quick operation and the possibility to easily reverse the piston direction by simply changing its position.
- Optional mounting at 45°-90° angles with a symmetrical, corrosion-resistant, high-quality steel pinion that is compatible with the piston stroke at any mounting angle.
- Quick opening and closing, low friction coefficient, and industrial-grade hard plastic bearing elements that minimize wear on friction surfaces.
- Specially machined modular gears for pistons and pinions, operating quietly, compatibly, and at maximum efficiency.
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners for long-term durability.
- Full compliance with the latest specifications. Designed for easy mounting of solenoids, limit switches, and other accessories, and interchangeable products according to ISI 5211, DIN 3337, and VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR standards and norms.
