Unox Single-Acting Pneumatic Actuated U-PVC Ball Valve for Acid Applications
What is a Pneumatic Actuated U-PVC Ball Valve?
A U-PVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) ball valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of liquids, gases, or other media in a piping system. It consists of a spherical ball element housed inside a valve body. The ball has a central hole, and when the valve is open, this hole aligns with the flow direction, allowing the medium to pass through.
When the valve is closed, the ball rotates so that the hole becomes perpendicular to the flow, blocking the passage completely.
Where Are Pneumatic Actuated U-PVC Ball Valves Used?
These valves are widely used in plumbing systems, water treatment plants, and various industrial and commercial applications. They are known for their durability, corrosion resistance, and low maintenance requirements. Since they operate with a quarter-turn mechanism, they provide fast and easy flow control.
Overall, U-PVC ball valves offer a reliable and cost-effective solution for fluid control in many different systems.
General Properties of Polyethylene Materials:
- High mechanical strength
- Resistant to acids, bases, and solvents
- Excellent dielectric (electrical insulation) properties
- Resistant to environmental conditions
Depending on the pipeline size, actuators with torque values ranging from 9 Nm to 400 Nm are used. Optional accessories such as switch boxes and directional valves can also be integrated into the system.
