Unox Manual Knife Gate Valve
What is a Manual Knife Gate Valve?
A manual knife gate valve is a type of valve that uses a gate or wedge-shaped disc to control the flow of liquid through a pipeline. The gate is operated manually by turning a handle or wheel, which raises or lowers the gate to open or close the valve. It is called a "knife gate" because the sharp edge of the gate allows it to cut through solids that may be present in the liquid.
This type of valve is widely used in applications where quick shut-off is required, such as irrigation systems, wastewater treatment plants, and industrial process lines. Additionally, because the sharp edge of the gate effectively cuts and stops the flow of solids, it is commonly used in applications where liquids may contain suspended solids.

Can be installed at the end of a pipeline between two flanges or using opposing flanges. PN10 flanges are available.
-
The gate sealing gasket is replaceable on-site.
-
Suitable for actuator installation thanks to the top flange.
-
The EPDM rubber gasket is seated within the valve body.
-
Available in manual handwheel, pneumatic piston, electric actuator, and gearbox-operated models.
