Unox Genel Maksat Yüksek Basınç Normalde Kapalı Solenoid Valfler 0,5-40 Bar
What is a General Purpose High Pressure Solenoid Valve?
A general purpose high-pressure solenoid valve is an electromechanical device that controls the flow of a pressurized gas or liquid. These valves are actuated by a solenoid (a coil that generates a magnetic field when energized), which opens or closes the valve based on the received electrical signal. They operate with both AC and DC power and are used to control a variety of fluids including air, gas, fuel, steam, and water. These valves are available in 2-way or 3-way configurations and are composed of a body, sleeve, coil, diaphragm, and core.
Typical Applications
High-pressure solenoid valves are designed for systems where line pressure is high, typically in the 0.5 to 40 bar range. These valves are commonly used in industrial automation systems, particularly in industries such as:
-
Chemical processing
-
Energy
-
Mining
-
Food and beverage
They allow for precise control of fluid or gas flow within the system, improving efficiency and safety.
Normally Closed (NC) Operation
A Normally Closed (NC) solenoid valve remains closed when not energized. When electrical current flows through the coil, a magnetic field is generated, lifting the plunger (core) and opening the orifice. This allows the pressurized fluid to pass through. The pressure inside the valve drops rapidly, causing a pressure difference that lifts the diaphragm, allowing full flow through the valve. All of this occurs within milliseconds, ensuring fast and efficient control.

Installation & Usage Recommendations
-
Install the valve with the coil positioned upwards.
-
Use filters (e.g. dirt strainers) upstream of the solenoid valve to prevent contamination.
-
For high-temperature applications, specify the need for high-temperature diaphragm and seal materials when ordering.
Solenoid Valve Selection Tips
-
Choose a coil voltage suitable for your system (AC or DC).
-
Ensure proper electrical protection and insulation based on the environment.
-
Minimum and maximum pressure ratings of the system must be considered.
-
The type and temperature of the fluid directly affect valve selection.
-
Follow the flow direction arrow indicated on the valve body during installation.
-
Solenoid valves do not function as check valves. For reverse pressure protection, install a check valve downstream.
-
Ensure the piping is clean and free of debris before installation.
