What is an Exproof Limit Switch Box?

Also known as an explosion-proof limit switch box, the Exproof Limit Switch Box is a type of electrical enclosure designed to house and protect electrical components in potentially hazardous environments. These environments may contain flammable gases, vapors, or dust, or have a risk of explosion due to these substances. The enclosure is designed to prevent any sparks or other ignition sources from occurring inside and to protect the electrical components within from explosion risks. The Exproof Limit Switch Box is equipped with a directional indicator showing whether the actuator (mounted on the valve) is in the open or closed position.
