What is an Electric Actuated Gear Ball Valve?
An electric actuated gear ball valve is a type of valve controlled by an electric motor and used to regulate the flow of liquids in a piping system. It consists of a ball with a hole in the middle, positioned inside the valve body. When the ball is rotated so that the hole aligns with the inlet and outlet ports, liquid can flow through the valve. When the ball is rotated such that the hole is perpendicular to the inlet and outlet ports, the flow of liquid is stopped.
The ball valve is operated or controlled by an electric motor. The motor is connected to a gear system that turns the ball to the desired position. The valve can be opened or closed by sending an electrical signal to the motor, which then rotates the ball to the appropriate position.
