Unox Double Acting Pneumatic Actuators
What is a Double Acting Pneumatic Actuator?
A pneumatic actuator is a mechanical device operated by air pressure. It generates power or motion through a piston or plate moving inside a pneumatic cylinder. Pneumatic actuators are commonly used in automated control systems and are powered by an air source providing compressed air. They are widely preferred for their high durability, reliability, and fast response. Additionally, they can be used in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
UNOX pneumatic actuators are fully domestically developed products from our R&D department. The Double Acting Pneumatic Actuator is used to control valves or dampers that open or close with a 90° rotation.

Construction
-
Aluminum extrusion with a cylinder surface processed by a precise technique, providing corrosion resistance inside and out, long service life, and low friction coefficient.
-
Symmetrical and easy mounting position; compact pistons made from special aluminum alloy, enabling quick operation and reversible operation by simply changing the piston position.
-
Pinion made from high-quality, corrosion-resistant steel, allowing mounting at 45°–90° angles and fully compatible with piston stroke at every angle.
-
Bearing elements made of industrial hard plastic reduce friction and minimize wear on friction surfaces, enabling quick open-close operation.
-
Precisely machined modular gears for piston and pinion ensure quiet, compatible, and highly efficient operation.
-
Long-lasting corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners.
-
Fully compliant with the latest specifications. Designed for easy mounting of solenoids, limit switches, and other accessories with interchangeable products. Compliant with standards ISI 5211, DIN 3337, and VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR.
