Unox 120° Rotary Pneumatic Actuators
What is a Pneumatic Actuator?
A pneumatic actuator is a mechanical device operated by air pressure. This device generates force or motion by the movement of a piston or vane inside a pneumatic cylinder. Pneumatic actuators are commonly used in automated control systems and utilize air pressure supplied by an air source. They are widely employed to control motion in mechanical systems due to their high durability, reliability, and fast response. They can also be used in high-temperature or highly corrosive environments.
UNOX pneumatic actuators are fully domestically developed products in our company’s R&D department. The 120° Rotary Pneumatic Actuators are designed for controlling valves and dampers that open or close with 90° or 120° rotation.

Construction
-
Aluminum extrusion with an inner and outer corrosion-resistant, long-lasting cylinder surface produced with a highly precise machining technique to ensure low friction coefficient.
-
Symmetrical and easy mounting positions; compact pistons made of special aluminum alloy, allowing fast operation and the ability to reverse the direction by simply repositioning the pistons.
-
Optionally mountable at 45°–90° angles, with a symmetrical, corrosion-resistant, high-quality steel pinion that works compatible with piston stroke at any mounting angle.
-
Fast opening/closing operation, low friction coefficient, and bearing elements made from industrial-grade hard plastic to minimize wear on friction surfaces.
-
Precision-machined modular gears on piston and pinion for quiet, compatible, and high-efficiency operation.
-
Stainless steel fasteners that are corrosion-resistant for long-term durability.
-
Fully compliant with the latest specifications. Designed for easy installation and removal of solenoids, limit switches, and other accessories, and for product interchangeability; conforms to ISI 5211, DIN 3337, and VDI/VDE 3845 NAMUR standards and norms.
