Pakkens Pressure Reducer without Manometer
What is a Pressure Regulator (Reducer)?
A pressure reducer is used to lower the pressure of air in pneumatic circuits to the desired operating pressure. Pneumatic pressure regulators reduce the system pressure to an adjustable working pressure and keep it largely stable despite variations in air consumption and fluctuations in system pressure. Pneumatic pressure regulators only work in the direction of reducing pressure; it is not possible to set a pressure higher than the line pressure.
A pressure reducer prevents problems caused by sudden increases in city water network pressure and minimizes the risk of pipe bursts in the plumbing system of your home or workplace. For ease of adjustment, types with a manometer are recommended.
Applications of Pressure Regulator (Reducer):
-
Homes and workplaces
-
City water network lines
-
Installed before water meters in buildings to protect against pressure surges
