Boiler Feed Device
A2 Type Boiler Supply Devices are fully automatic units used for controlling and adjusting the liquid level in open and closed vessels. Boiler Feed Devices, used in all types of boilers and hydrophores with pressures up to 16 atmospheres, consist of 2 three-function contact tubes, providing 3 on-off states.
The liquid level is measured via a stainless steel float capable of withstanding pressures up to 25 atmospheres. The movement of the float is transmitted to mercury commutators outside the pressurized section through a stainless steel rod. The active movement and sealing of the float and rod are ensured by a bellows element made of stainless steel, resistant to 25 bar. The float housing and cover are made of GGG 40.3 spheroidal cast iron, while the contact and control sections are insulated with pressure-cast aluminum protectors.
Manual control in the system and monitoring through the observation window in the switch housing is possible. The Boiler Feed Device contains no magnetic fields, preventing operational failures caused by ferromagnetic particles accumulating on the control magnets. Additionally, highly flexible communication cables insulated with silicone rubber provide safe and reliable operation.
The switch section is securely mounted against shocks. Safety mechanisms prevent incorrect adjustments, and there is no wear-prone stuffing box.
It offers a wide adjustment range: A1: 15–75 mm, A2: 15–30 mm for level control. Mercury contact tubes can also be adjusted separately and operate with 380 V, 3A, 1.1 kW AC or 220 V, 1A, 220 VA DC. The new flange-type Boiler Feed Device provides practical use thanks to its easy installation feature.
