Boiler Feed Device
General Description:
A2 Type Boiler Supply Devices are fully automatic devices used for controlling and adjusting the liquid level in open and closed vessels. These boiler feed devices, used in boilers and hydrophores with pressures up to 16 atmospheres, consist of 2 contact tubes with 3 functions each, providing 3 On-Off states.
Operation Principle:
The liquid level is measured via a stainless steel float capable of withstanding pressures up to 25 atmospheres. The movement of the float is transmitted to mercury commutators located outside the pressurized section through a stainless steel shaft. The active movement and tightness of the float and shaft are ensured by a bellows element made of stainless steel resistant to 25 bar. The float housing and cover are made of GGG 40.3 spheroidal cast iron, and the contact and control parts of the device are isolated with pressure-resistant aluminum cast protectors.
Manual Control & Safety Features:
The device allows manual control within the system and inspection through the viewing window in the switch housing. Since the boiler feed devices contain no magnetic field, ferromagnetic particles that may settle in the control magnets do not cause operational failures. Flexible communication cables insulated with silicone rubber provide safe and convenient operation.
The switch section is securely mounted against vibrations. Safety mechanisms prevent incorrect adjustments. There is no wear-prone stuffing box.
Adjustment & Electrical Specifications:
The device offers a wide adjustment range: A1: 15–75 mm, A2: 15–30 mm for level control. Mercury contact tubes can also be adjusted and operate at 380 V, 3A, 1.1 kW AC, or 220 V, 1A, 220 VA DC. The new type flanged boiler feed device is easy to install, providing practical use.
